Moroccan Medjool is a sumptuous fruity amber that combines the caramel sweetness of dates with the golden warmth of the desert.

The third instalment in the Explorer collection, Moroccan Medjool is a tribute to the delicious dates the Romans encountered in Mauretania. Dates were among one of Morocco’s most treasured exports to the Romans, and were an important commodity in establishing long-lasting connections between Morocco and the broader Mediterranean world. With Moroccan Medjool, we pay homage to dates and the oasis habitat where they grow in abundance.

The scent opens with bright and fruity notes, with a dewy citrus freshness setting a scene of sunrise over the oasis. A tempting platter of dates is surrounded by a profusion of rose and jasmine petals, the floral emblems of Morocco. The mineral warmth of cashmeran and ambergris evoke the arid heat of the desert air, providing a counterpoint to candied notes of vanilla and caramel – which carry the honeyed character of dates long into the rich amber base.
